It aims to provide a safety net for families who are financially struggling and cannot provide for the family’s basic needs. There are 4 goals that TANF focuses on, which are the following:

Prescription Drug Assistance Programs is a Medicare program that assists the prescription of drugs of beneficiaries. It was implemented when the authorized passed the Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act of 2003.
Veterans Medical and Health Care Benefits are programs from the government that primarily focuses upon benefiting veterans in terms of medical and health care units.
EBT or the Electronic Benefits Transfer Cards or Common Benefit Identification Cards (CBIC) are electronically systematic cards that process the disbursement of the benefits under the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP).
Unemployment Compensations are created by the federal and local government to assist and give benefits for jobless workers. These compensations primarily provide financial aid for unemployed individuals.

Child Care Certificate Program is a program that helps and assists parents with the tuition for child care. It primarily covers a part of a payment for the child care of its beneficiaries. Eligible families can freely choose the kind and type of child care as they participate within the said program.
Texas Unemployment is a relevant issue addressed by the Texas Workforce Commission or the TWC wherein they offer unemployment benefits to those individuals who lost their job due to reasons, not their fault, or got laid off because of the pandemic.
