HEERF Grant is a federal program that focuses on helping American students with their education. The said program was supervised generally by the Office of Postsecondary Education (OPE) and handled locally by different colleges and universities.

As the pandemic reached its peak, it gave a vast impact on our lives, especially with our financial needs. On the other hand, we all know that the financial stability of a student has a great effect on his/her education.

This is one of the major reasons why the HEERF Grant is created, to give support to those students that suffer financial hardships. The eligible beneficiaries can use the financial assistance within any component like tuition, housingfoodhealth care, or even child care.

The CRRSAA gives $81.88 billion in funds for education and an additional $30.75 billion that was provided because of the CARES Act. The allocation for this tranche is bigger than the first one as it helps several beneficiaries throughout the nation.

Higher Education Emergency Relief Fund III (HEERF III)

The HEERF III is the last and latest tranche of the said program. This division was authorized under the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Law that was passed last March 11, 2021. The said law provides a total of $39.6 billion in resources for education. This tranche was created to assist and support more eligible students for the program and to ensure the process of education throughout the pandemic.
